Pack 28 is currently accepting registrations for boys in Grades 1 - 5 who are interested in becoming Scouts. Please contact Karen Desjardins at 228-2111 for an application.
For those who have already obtained an application, please be sure to submit it as soon as possible so that new Scouts can be assigned to a Den and get Scouting! Also, the Pack is in need of at least one more person to take on a Tiger Den Leader role (Grade 1 Boys), a Tiger Assistant Den Leader role, a Wolf Den Leader role (Grade 2 Boys),and a Wolf Assistant Den Leader role. These would be entirely new Dens with 5 -7 Scouts each. Please contact Karen Desjardins if you would be willing to help grow some Scouts in Pack 28!
Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting — citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the Den and Pack.
Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.
Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age.
